Australian Fall 2020 - Part 1

Even after living in Australia for 7 years, I still get confused with the seasons!!  Things quickly became routine, and then quickly turned completely upside down when Covid-19 pandemic hit.  The world basically stopped.  International travel stopped (we were so blessed to be able to go home for Christmas and then make it back to Australia!) schools and everything shut down to try and slow the spread of the disease, and in some places it really worked, and in other places covid went crazy and killed tons of people.  Australia has been incredibly lucky, we shut our borders quickly and as a result the disease hasn't affected us too much.  Now a year after, as I'm writing and trying to catch up (in Jan 2021) we still haven't had one case of Covid in Mount Isa, so after the relatively short lockdown, things have been pretty much normal here.  Back in Canada they have had it much worse and it seems like they have been locking down forever!  Here are some photos during the early days of Covid:
