It's Almost Vacation Time!!

Leading up to a vacation is so hard!!  There is so much planning to do and it's hard to wait for exciting things!  Next time I may not tell the kids that we're going on a holiday until the last minute to save myself from telling them it's not time for our vacation yet!  We did manage to keep pretty busy in the lead up to our holiday though!

This girl is TOO ADORABLE!!!  And 4 months already.  Wow time is flying

Where else can you do this in the winter!
Charlie drew me a love heart!  And one for Elly too of course
One day while I was cooking in the kitchen Charlie came in and started showing me all the
different things he could make with his magnet tiles!  Then he started having me tell him different things
to make and he'd make them.  He's a fantastic little builder!  This was a crocodile.
We had to make a scrapbook page for Charlie's kindy, he was very particular about what went where!
Elly is obsessed with the fresh beans from our garden.  Every day she asks to go check for beans!
Love me a gummy smile!

This was Charlie's review from Kindy.  I love this boy!  He's doing great.
Hazel started solids and she LOVES food
We finally bit the bullet and bought a table and chairs from Bunnings, because every time we tried off the buy and sell pages we were too slow!  Our goal is to be more social, so we got this and built a fire pit so we can have people over
Charlie likes to sleep with as many toys as we'll let him!
Hazel at 5 months old!
Elly will often fall asleep in random places
(on the table, on chairs, on the floor in the middle of the kitchen, on the toilet...)
Snuck a picture at church cause she's just too cute!
Our friend Joanna gave Hazel this little dress before going home to Poland for a visit
Crazy hair girl!
Elly loves to help out with Hazel!  She especially thinks its fun to carry her around...
Sisters!

Winter in the Outback

Can I just say that winter in the outback of Australia is amazing!  It gets a little chilly at night (even down to 2!), but the highs are around 25 in the day which are perfect for playing outside!!  I have been loving it, and we decided that our next trip home will be in the Australian summer (Canadian winter) because we like the winters here too much!!  And the summers here are just way too hot...  We've had a lot of fun taking care of our garden, going to playgroups and we even had some more visitors!  Uncle Rex and Aunt Gloria were driving around in Australia with their caravan and they stopped by for a few days and the kids were just in heaven! They love having visitors and showing off.

Hazel got ahold of Charlies Optimus Prime!
On Hazels 3 month birthday
Auntie Janet sent this cute outfit for Hazy
Charlie randomly decided it was a good idea to try my pants on!  It was pretty funny...
Those cheeks!
Elly the Owl.  This was at the hippy group meeting
Family!

Charlie chose a carrot cake to take to the end of term party at his school, and he wanted it to say:
"To School, From Charlie (Charlie and mommy made it!)
Elly wanted her dress on overtop of her pjs, thats how obsessed with dresses she is!
Huge zucchini from our garden!
This boy loves to build!
One of the hippy activities was to make a zoo out of something, and of course Charlie chose lego!  He was so proud of it!  The hippy pack included some animals, but Charlie made me draw a beaver to add - a true Canadian!
We tried doing ice chalk... we ran out of cornstarch though so they were mini

Picnic at the Peacock Park with Gloria and Rex
Aunt Gloria is so fun!

Beautiful sunset at the lake!
Elly had fun at playgroup this day...
Kids got cool shirts and crocodiles at playgroup!
All my kids in sleepers!  So cute!
