I write fall fun... but really the temperatures are not fall-like at all! It's still over 30 daily, which is depressing - bring on the mid 20's! I really should be complaining since when we move home in a few years I'll probably be dying for these warm temperatures!
But on to the cute children...
Elly is now 7 months and crawling up a storm! She also pulls herself up on things, but can't yet sit up - she just automatically gets into crawling position! She loves food and will lunge with impressive speed to try and get it (she grabbed Charlie's sandwich and shoved it in her mouth SO FAST, both Charlie and I couldn't believe our eyes!)
Charlie has moved on a bit from diggers (unless we're in the sandpit) and is now obsessed with Thomas and Friends. The lady who runs the Tuesday playgroup we attend noticed Charlie made me read him the same Thomas book multiple times each playgroup and brought Charlie some of her sons old Thomas things and boy was Charlie thrilled! There was an impressive Thomas book set (with like 30 books), a trackmaster set with battery operated trains, and some wooden track with TONS of trains, as well as a heap of wind-up trains as well. It has kept him occupied for MANY days.
