Next we headed down the road a few minutes to our next place - Big4 Adventure Whitsunday! Big4 is a caravan park chain all around Australia (we stayed at one in Mackay) and this one looked to be bigger and better with 13 waterslides and a heated lagoon pool! And because it was a bit pricy I wanted to stay here when we would actually be using the amenities (and not off on a boat all day!) Charlie and Elly were in heaven - they said it was the best place ever and they wanted to live there and stay forever. So we ended up extending our stay by 3 extra nights so we could spend more time water sliding! They also had a really good little mini golf course, a playground, jumping pillows, outdoor movies, a pancake breakfast by the pool, a little farm and peddle bikes... seriously the kids were in heaven!

Right now Andrew is working in ED and so he has a random schedule, usually 8 days on 7 days off. So as a surprise we have booked a stay at this same place during his next break! The kids don't know and I've decided that's the way to do holidays - don't tell them because then they can't ask how long until you're going!
